StaRacers (Berkshire, Wiltshire, Surrey, Buckinghamshire & Gloucestershire)

StaRacers has come about as a result of like minded individuals who have rehomed ferrets from STARescue, getting together at weekends, bank holidays and evensome evenings during week days to attend country shows, school and village fetes and other corporate events to raise money for STARescue, and provide ferret PR.

Hants and Berks Ferret Club (North Hampshire, Berkshire)

Are a group of ferret enthusiasts based in the North Hampshire/Berkshire area. Their main aim as a club is to promote the welfare of working, domestic and rescued ferrets. During the Summer months they attend public events such as fetes, fairs, country shows and displays in the the Hants/Berks area.

Bristol Ferret Club (Bristol, Somerset, Gloucerstershire)

Are an informal club aiming to promote ferrets as pets and all are welcome to join whether yours are purely pets or if you work them too. They also welcome members that do not yet own ferrets but that have an interest in these fascinating animals. The club do charge a small membership fee to join. They have regular meetings and additional meetings when necessary, and arrange some ferret included outings during the summer months including camping trips and ferret racing.

The club started in 1988 & has over 60 members of all ages. North Bucks Ferret Club believes it is important to encourage younger members and teach them how to handle & care for ferrets. They organise various activities throughout the year to promote ferrets through public relations at various events.

The Wessex Ferret Club was formed in May 1983 and now has over 260 members spread across Southern England. Originally the club members were mainly people who used their ferrets for rabbit control but now the pet and house kept ferret holds sway.

Ferrets in Need (Manchester)

The club try to help by attending fairs and shows to raise money so that they can provide assistance with vet bills and provide essentials like food, housing and bedding to lost or abandoned ferrets. They also hold a social evening on the last Wednesday of every month.
